Upsetta Sound Reggae Cruise Weekend & Four New Tune!!!
As many of you know ... Upsetta Sound (Dubee, Dante, Mason and Eastcoast) had their very first Reggae Summer Fest Cruise on the Spirit of Ethan Allen (Lake Champlain, Burlington, VT) this past weekend.
In addition to some fierce juggling by veteran sound Upsetta International (Dubee & Dante) - the crowd consisting of approximately 3 gal to a man, was blessed by Upsetta Sound recording artist Ras Q and Upcoming Dancehall/Daggering star ... Fudgie Springer!! Despite some unseasonably cold weather (it's 75 as I type this - SMH) - the event was a success and everybody (guests, performers, hosts, etc) was satisfied and left wanting more ...
and more they will get. Upsetta spent the remainder of the weekend in their studio, producing four amazing tunes between Fudgie Springer and Geo!!

Is there dancehall in Vt? Where the hell is Vermont? What the fuck you doing in Vermont? Where's the party at in Pittsburgh? When you coming to NY?
These are some of the most common questions I was asked this weekend.
Every day I thank the fadda for music because I cant imagine my life if music didnt play a big part in it
I've been some markets that prior to visiting there no one could tell me that reggae a gwaan well inna dem place deh. I'm saying this about Vermont... but lets keep it real... I still can't tell you where Vermont is.
REAL TALK.
I arrived in Burlington VT on thursday morning and as I got there the weather start deal wid me wikkid, thank God it was chilly Thursday morning in Pittsburgh or I wouldn't had brought a pullover on this trip. lol
The promoters were Dubee and Dante from Upsetta Sound Productions and Upsetta Intl and dem mek sure deh Gyalsta was right at home...
Gimme highgrade fi smoke and mek mi pree some bad riddims. Yow if yu no know bout Vermont weed... trust mi dem no call it the Green Mountain State fi nuttn.
Di man dem gimme mac computer fi work pon, weed fi smoke, introduce mi to some hot gyal, and riddim fi pree (DI WHORE LIKE VERMONT)
The first time Dubee play di Strange Days Riddim (which is a one drop riddim) I thought it wasnt for me but for some reason I asked for it to gwaan vibe.
Thursday after about 20 mins mi have a song completely written for the riddim. I don't want to give you too much but di song name "A SO MI TING STAY" yu know how mi always find di topics dat nobody no too touch cause Gyalsta do dem own ting...
Well a one a dem song deh Is a song dat a spell it out blatantly to women who dealing wid whores and or gyalstas or gallist (whatever yu wah call we)
Some woman OD and forget who dem a deal wid, so this song is to provide a reference for such women so if dem forget, they can be reminded so them can behave accordingly (I feature a Detroit artist on this track, she provided the intro for the song and some crazy adlibs [dont ask] lol)
Friday was the boatride...
Yeah the show in cold ass Burlington was on a boat lol God Bless Dante and that big winter jacket that he let me use or I probably wouldn't have made it back in one piece lol.
In preparation for the event I went on 2 radio stations in Burlington, the first station was Jah Red's show. I was impressed because when I arrived I was impressed and pleasantly surprised. This bredda a white Ras from Vt had all my songs and already had them in rotation, knew all about Lamar Clan, Unda
Teka and Whoring 'n Touring.
The interview was nice, I told all the female listeners that they all owe mi a dance and how my time was limited in Burlington so come early fi get their share of the whore. Jah Red go luuuuu though
... during the show he challenge me in a daggering contest, who can dagger di most gyal (VERMONT WEED, I'M TELLING YOU ITS STRONG LOL)
Pon di boat di vybz was nice, Upsetta Intl do dem ting and had all di girls dancing and you know how my ting stay, mi just a slide behind every girl and do mi ting, run dem dung when dem run, wine who fi get wine, dagga who fi get dagga, lift uo who fi get lift up, feel up who fi get feel up, work mi did a work mi never have no chicken fi jerk (I paid attention to the 40 min daggering rule though lol)
Performance time was crazy!
* Mi go "Pussy Good" , ever gyal say dem pussy good so it work
* Mi go "Walk out and talk mi gyal..." di girl dem walk out and do dem ting
* Mi Go " Mouth pon di buddy.." girls were simulating giving me head on the dancefloor
* Mi go "Titty Wine.." Girls a rub breast, me a rub girl breast
Needless to say di ting gwaan good, I love Vermont lol [Big Up Ras Q, Upsetta recording artist and Geo dem did inna di building likewise]
Saturday was pretty much a work day,
I recorded two tracks, "A SO MI TING STAY" and "YOU COMPLETE ME GIRL"
...... a love song and Geo recorded two tracks. We pretty much spend di whole day in the studio working.
So look out for those 4 songs coming from Upsetta Sound Productions, Mi like Vermont...
Mi just need fi find 2 good pum pum pout deh, cause mi plan fi pass thru more often

First OFFICIAL Music Video for an Upsetta Sound Produced Tune!
Upsetta Sound is pleased and honored to post the FIRST EVER, Official Music Video for a song they have produced.
"Shalli Sings" by Shalli (Planet Rock Entertainment) first appeared on Upsetta Sound's Cuss Fix Riddim Compilation; released in January 2009. With nuff, positive feedback from fans, DJ's and Selectors worldwide - Planet Rock decided to release a video for the single, after having the Cuss Fix Riddim "Remixed" by Upsetta Sound Producer, Dante Davinci, for the video "mix.

UPSETTA SOUND unveils new Logo!!
Greetings Massive,
As they prepare for their sophomore release, due in the next two months (details coming very soon), Upsetta Sound (Dubee, Dante and Mason) is pleased to unveil their new Logo (designed by Dubee).
The Upsetta Sound slogan, "Cut From A Different Cloth," debuted on the Cuss Fix Riddim Artwork and has been Upsetta's slogan from day one ... Surely you will be seeing more and more of this logo and from us in the very near future!
